An order from the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) called for a recount of the votes, without the last-minute alliance that had benefited Vidal Trajano Potentini, candidate of the opposition political party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yohan Lopez of the coalition of parties that included the ruling Modern Revolutionary Party has taken office on the strength of that court order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yet, the legality of that step is disputed, and it is said the case will go to the Constitutional Court.
