ONE says it is the third year of a downward trend in teenage pregnancies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2022, hospital registries estimated the number of births of teenage mothers at 25,489. Cases then declined to 23,070 in 2023, with an absolute difference of 2,419 births, or the 9.5% decline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Children and Adolescents Cabinet (Gana) and the National Council for Children and Adolescents (Conani) released the information.
