The six members had resigned on 9 January 2024, but a legal consultation revealed this was not enough to force new elections and eventually, two of the members requested to be readmitted. The other four would also request to be readmitted, but the COD rejected readmitting Jos\u00e9 Manuel Ramos of the Equestrian Federation; Radham\u00e9s Tav\u00e1rez of the Swimming Federation and Juan N\u00fa\u00f1ez of the Baseball Federation.
