He had taken a leave of absence from his role as Administrative Minister of the Presidency to work on the campaigns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Puerto Plata city mayor Diomedes Roque Garcia won his first reelection bid. Other winners are<br>Luis Joel Francisco (Altamira), Germania Gonz\u00e1lez (Guananico), H\u00e9ctor Radhames Francisco (El Mamey Los Hidalgos), Mar\u00eda Elena Ramos (Imbert), H\u00e9ctor Almonte (Montellano).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three PRM allies also won the election.
