The judge of the Permanent Attention Office of the National District, Rigoberto Sena, issued three months of preventive detention against three accused of being responsible for the assault on the Torre Nicole IX in the La Esperilla sector, and in the Torre King in Bella Vista, in the National District.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jos\u00e9 Miguel Olivero Plasencia, alias Chiri; Edwin Ariel Cabrera Kelly, alias El Abuelo, and Jos\u00e9 Alejandro Ogando Serrano, alias Alex and\/or El Rompedor were sent to the Najayo Jail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the case, the Public Ministry accused four people, one of whom is already imprisoned in La Victoria prison for robbery and armed assault. This is Juan Israel S\u00e1nchez Gonz\u00e1lez, known as “Chichi Prenda”, who is identified as the alleged ringleader of the gang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the document prepared by the prosecutors, in the evening of 12 February 2024, the accused first entered the Torre King in Bella Vista, where they allegedly beat and tied up the condominium security to take away his shotgun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, they went to rob the Torre Nicole IX in La Esperilla, after midnight on 13 February. The assailants reportedly entered the tower asking for where the Chinese lived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Public Ministry specifies that the defendants are part of an alleged gang dedicated to robbing apartment towers in the National District.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
