The market is located on Av. Mella, the northern border of the historic center of the capital city of Santo Domingo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry has called for bids for the improvements to the roof, fa\u00e7ade and electrical installations as the project for renovation gets its start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The IDB\u2019s Programa Integral de Desarrollo Tur\u00edstico y Urbano de la Ciudad Colonial de Santo Domingo (PIDTUCCSD) was signed in 2019 and calls for a loan of US$90 million for renovations in the historic center of Santo Domingo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The historic center is under intense renovation.
