In an incredible game, the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated Denver Nuggets in the continuing of the NBA Western Division playoffs. The game played in Denver ended 106-80, with the Timberwolves, playing with Dominican national team player Karl Anthony Towns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Timberwolves now have a two-game lead in the 7-games-win-4 series that after the two games in Denver moves to Minneapolis, home of the Minnesota Timberwolves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the Monday, 6 May game, the Timberwolves overpowered the Denver Nuggets. The game ended with \u201cthe stunningly efficient 106-80 thrashing of the reigning NBA champions\u201d, CBS Sports News reported on the second game played in Denver, Colorado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We’ve had some really good defensive efforts this year,” Wolves coach Chris Finch said after his team took a surprising 2-0 lead in the Western Conference semifinals. “That has to be right up there with the best of them.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Player Edwards expects to see a different Nuggets team at Target Center in Minneapolis this weekend. “It worked in our favor tonight, man. That’s all that was,” he said. “We made shots. They didn’t. That’s the defending champs over there. So, they’re not going to come out and play like that again in Game 3.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
