He is mentioned in the accusatory file of the Calamar case that looks into crimes such as association of criminals, embezzlement, coalition of government officials, and money laundering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Listin Diario reports that the Calamar accusatory file mentions that the legislator, who is not listed as a defendant, replaced one of the defendants in the case, Fernando Cris\u00f3stomo Herrera, as the leader of an alleged network of illegal charges to lottery and sports banks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to prosecutors, Gory entered the network in August 2018, and remained in it until its termination in May 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Likewise, prosecutors reported that the deputy worked alongside other defendants such as Frixo Messina Arvelo, the person in charge of operations at the Casinos and Gambling Agency, and the director of Casino and Gambling Agency, Juli\u00e1n Omar Fern\u00e1ndez Figueroa, who \u201callowed all the facilities for the illegal collections project continued to function.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the Public Ministry assured that after entering the network, Moya restructured the \u201cproject.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Listin Diario reports that under the new direction of the alleged network, the accused V\u00edctor Roa was the one who received the money from the illegal charges, who subsequently gave it to Ram\u00f3n Emilio Jim\u00e9nez Collie, also known as \u201cMimilo\u201d, continuing with the scheme of distributing money to the \u201ccollaborators\u201d and bribery of officials of the Casinos and Gambling Agency of the Ministry of Hacienda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Legislators in the Dominican Republic are under the jurisdiction of the judiciary.
