The fire was said to have broken out at around 9pm on Monday, 24 June 2024. No injuries were reported but there are extensive material losses. Preliminary reports indicate the affected computerized warehouses stored threads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Firefighters from Santo Domingo West, Santo Domingo North and the National District battled the blaze for hours to contain the fire and avoid it spreading to other warehouses also containing highly flammable materials. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The industrial park is home to 21 industrial plants and warehouses.
