Check out Iberostar-IHG’s first hotel in the capital city, the Las Mercedes Kimpton Hotel. The hotel is located in a renovated 16th Century building on Calle Las Mercedes in the Colonial City area, walkable to most historic attractions of the historic city center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kimpton Las Mercedes is described as a hotel that fuses modern luxury with historic charm. On the premises are three restaurants and bars, and a rooftop pool and fitness center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hotel is an option for Santo Domingo residents who want to spend a romantic night or two in the Colonial City, without having to commute through traffic to get there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The general manager is Marta Amengual who came to the Dominican Republic to open the Coral Level en Punta Cana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Kimpton is a brand operated by IHG Hotels and Resorts, resulting from the agreement between the InterContinental Hotels Group PLC (IHG Hotels and Resorts). (IHG or the Company) and Iberostar Hotels & Resorts (Iberostar).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
