The Central Bank (CB) attributes the drop to a decrease in the value of fuel purchases. The CB says that January&#8217;s CPI is based on the increase in prices of chicken (2.16%), rice (2.21%), milk (6.81%), eggs (3.86%), pork meat (4.05%) and alcohol and tobacco (7.04%), amongst other goods.
