The joint operation was carried out by the National Drug Control Agency (DNCD), the Customs Agency (DGA), and the Port\u2019s Military Security, acting on intelligence reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A thorough inspection of a container filled with cotton, en route from Guatemala to Belgium, led to the discovery of the illicit substance concealed within 10 black bags. X-ray scans confirmed the presence of the drugs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This seizure marks another significant victory in the Dominican Republic\u2019s ongoing battle against narcotics. So far this year, authorities have confiscated over 26.1 tons of drugs.
