The majarete desert weighed a staggering 858.95 kilograms. It took around eight hours of preparation and six hours of cooking. The team was led by Chef Solangel Vel\u00e1zquez and a team of 19 culinary experts. Despite requiring only 200 kilograms of corn as per the guidelines, the team exceeded expectations with their generous portions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Guinness World Record for the World\u2019s Largest Majarete was officially set on 2 November 2024 during the Festur 2024 event at the Hatillo Dam in Cotu\u00ed. The event was organized by the S\u00e1nchez Ram\u00edrez Ecotourism Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After a rigorous evaluation process, Guinness World Records officially recognized the achievement, notifying Eligi\u00f3 Reyes, CEO of Sma Group and the S\u00e1nchez Ram\u00edrez Ecotourism Council, in the early hours of 21 November 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The massive corn pudding, weighing a staggering 858.95 kilograms, was the result of approximately eight hours of preparation and six hours of cooking, led by Chef Solangel Vel\u00e1zquez and a team of 19 culinary experts. Despite requiring only 200 kilograms of corn as per the guidelines, the team exceeded expectations with their generous portion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An estimated 1,000 biodegradable 6-ounce cups of majarete were served, along with additional portions in pots and caldrons brought by attendees.
