American Airlines is now operating daily flights from Miami International (MIA) to La Romana\u2019s International Airport (LRM). The airplane used has capacity for 128 passengers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The around two-hour-and-a-half Flight AA3071 leaves Miami International each day at 10:30am and arrives at La Romana at 2pm local time. (DR is currently one hour ahead of Eastern Standard Time).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Executives of Casa de Campo, Central Romana, the Ministry of Tourism, and the Airport Authority, were on hand to receive the first passengers of the renewed flights by American.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The American Airlines flights puts the many tourist attractions, most famously Saona Island, just minutes away for travelers landing into the fast-to-clear La Romana International Airport. The area has thousands of hotel rooms in resorts in the Casa de Campo, Bayahibe and Dominicus beach areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

American regional manager, Oliver Bojos, noted that American Airlines now serves five cities and areas in the Dominican Republic \u2013 Santo Domingo, Santiago, Punta Cana, Puerto Plata and La Romana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
