The decision cancels the press conferences on 16, 23 and 30 December 2024. The Monday, 9 December briefing had already been canceled due to the President&#8217;s official visit to Qatar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The press briefings are especially important because of the reticence of most key government officials to answer to press inquiries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The government&#8217;s communications team said the &#8220;La Semanal&#8221; will resume in January and extended holiday greetings to journalists and the public. The Presidency did not give a date in January. Monday, 6 January is Three Kings Day, a national holiday.
