The final phase of the Caribean Series, the regional winter league baseball, is currently underway in Mexicali, Mexico. The Caribbean Series brings together the winning teams of the winter baseball leagues in Venezuela, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic. Japan is the guest country this year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dominican Republic team got off to a good start winning its first two games against Venezuela (2-0) and Japan (12-1), but then losing on Sunday, 2 February to Mexico, 2-0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mexico with its win against the DR ensured a place in the playoff of the series. The contending team will be decided in the 3 February 2025 game between Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
