The meeting saw representatives from France, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic in attendance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The One-Ocean congress serves as a prelude to the third United Nations Oceans Conference (UNOC3), co-hosted by France and Costa Rica, taking place in Nice, France from 9-3 June 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brigitte Veyne, Cooperation and Cultural Action Counselor at the French Embassy in the Dominican Republic, expressed her satisfaction with the project&#8217;s progress in key areas. She highlighted the expansion of the Franco-Dominican network focused on the utilization of sargassum and agricultural waste.
