As the 2025 Major League Baseball season approaches, the MLB Network has published its list of the top 100 players in the Major Leagues, including several Dominican star players that make up 15% of the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, the #1 player is Shohei Ohtani, the star of the World Champion Los Angeles Dodgers. He pitches and plays in the field. And he excels at both jobs. This is the third time that Ohtani has headed the Top 100 list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dominican Juan Soto is Number Four (#4) on the list. Only Ohtani, Aaron Judge and Bobby Witt Jr. are ranked higher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Cleveland third baseman, Jose Ramirez is also a \u201ctop ten\u201d in the ninth position. Vladimir Guerrero Jr., currently in salary negotiations with the Toronto Blue Jays, is ranked 13th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman, Ketel Marte is in the Top 20 at #18.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Numbers 21, 22, and 23 are held by Dominicans: Boston\u2019s Rafael Devers, San Diego\u2019s Fernando Tatis Jr., and Seattle\u2019s Julio Rodriguez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manny Machado, Elly de la Cruz, Willy Adames, Framber Valdez, Marcel Ozuna, Teoscar Hernandez, Emmanuel Clase, and Mark Vientos are the other Dominican players in the Top 100.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2025 Major League Baseball season starts with two games in Japan on 18 and 19 March. The Chicago Cubs will play the Los Angeles Dodgers at the Tokyo Dome Stadium, and then, on 27 March the regular season in the United States and Canada begins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
