As an exception, in the final days of the Biden administration, the Dominican Republic imposed tariffs on US rice imports that would have entered tariff-free. The measure will continue to be in effect, unless it is opposed by the current United States government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Diario Libre looks into the case and possible occurrences now that the Trump administration has spoken of imposing reciprocal tariffs.
