Of this amount, some RD$90 million has been paid. The fines issued to corporations as well as individuals, have ranged from RD$25,000 to RD$12 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nearly 2,300 people have been arrested for crimes committed under the laws covering the environment.
