This lack of transparency raises concerns about potential corruption and illicit enrichment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>N Digital reports that the failure to comply with the requirement undermines public trust and hinders accountability within local governments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most of those that have not met the requirement are city mayors from municipalities located in the southwestern provinces, especially in Barahona, Bahoruco, Independencia and Pedernales.
