Avelo Airlines had launched its seasonal flights in February with twice-weekly flights to Punta Cana from Raleigh-Durham.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Research Triangle, often dubbed &#8220;The Triangle,&#8221; is a thriving metropolitan area in North Carolina, comprising Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill, where leading US universities are located.
