The first shipment was of 2,000 boxes or 16 tons. President Luis Abinader and Minister of Agriculture Limber Cruz were in Montecristi for the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, the exported Timpson variety of green grapes are now for sale at the Supermercados Nacional stores in the Dominican Republic. The Timpson variety is described as sweet, crunchy, seedless, rich in antioxidants, vitamins and fiber.
