Since many people employ domestic help on a day-to-day basis, the El Dia newspaper has calculated the daily rate at RD$546 per day. This new pay scale goes into effect on 1 May 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, in fact, most day workers will not work for less than RD$800 to RD$1,000 per day, plus transport. And live-in help will be far more expensive.
