The last ambassador had been named by Donald Trump at the start of his first presidency. For his second presidency, President Trump promptly named his choice for ambassador to the Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Foreign Relations Committee of the United States Senate now announces that the nominations hearing for Leah Campos to be ambassador to the Dominican Republic will be on Thursday, 1 May 2025 at 10:30am.
