Juan Dolio Beach, less than 40 minutes from Santo Domingo or La Romana, is the center of two Norceca competitions back-to-back, gathering top beach volleyball competitors from North, Central America and the Caribbean. The first tournament, from 15 to 19 May, concluded with wins of Mexican men and Puerto Rican women with the participation of 17 women\u2019s teams and 19 men\u2019s teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Norceca reported that Puerto Ricans Allanis Navas and Mar\u00eda Gonz\u00e1lez claimed the gold medal after defeating Mexico\u2019s Susana Torres and Atenas Rodr\u00edguez in a thrilling match 2-0 (21-19, 21-19) in the second stage of the 2025 Norceca Beach Volleyball Continental Tour. The bronze medal went to Mexico\u2019s Yeray Vidaurruzaga and Mar\u00eda Ram\u00edrez, who defeated Corine Quiggle and Megan Rice from the United States 2-1 (18-21, 21-19, 15-12).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Mexican duo of Miguel Sarabia and Jorman Osuna claimed top honors in the second stop of the 2025 Norceca Beach Tour after outlasting Americans Timothy Brewster and Ryan Lerna in a hard-fought three-set battle, 2-1 (21-19, 18-21, 15-12). The bronze medal went to fellow Mexicans Antonio Lares and Carlos Ayala, 2-1 (16-21, 21-15, 15-13).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Norceca circuit awards crucial points toward the Norceca continental rankings and the FIVB world rankings and serves, this year, as the official start of the qualification process for the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games, set to take place in Santo Domingo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now with the completion of the Norceca Tour stop, the action continues with the U23 Norceca Beach Volleyball Continental Tour scheduled from 22 to 26 May 2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This developmental tournament has 11 women\u2019s teams and 14 men\u2019s teams already pre-registered and will serve as an important preparatory platform for athletes who will compete at the 2025 Junior Pan American Games in Asunci\u00f3n, Paraguay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>US Volleyball is confirming the participation of Emma Donley and Portia Sherman on the women\u2019s side, with Gage Basey and Thomas Hurst on the men\u2019s side.
