These areas play an important part in the economic development of each region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This information was released by the Center for Industrial Development and Competitiveness, known as Proindustria, as part of the celebrations associated with the Day of Micro-, Small, and Mid-sized Enterprises (Mipymes).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The agency noted that towns such as Villa Altagracia, Cotui, Barahona, and Salcedo still have plenty of space for installing new industries under the umbrella of the free zone laws. There is also land available in El Seibo and Hig\u00fcey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fact is that Proindustria promotes both local and foreign investments in these industrial parks and provided the buildings according to the specific manufacturer. Now using a modular construction, the agency is more flexible and can supply the needed buildings in a short time.
