This resolution introduces a standardized format for all civil registry certificates and adjusts the fees for various services offered by the institution, both in the Dominican Republic and abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Key changes include the consolidation of certain service fees, streamlining of procedures, and a reduction in processing steps to improve public access and efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The JCE emphasized that civil registry certificates\u2014whether extracts or full versions\u2014that were issued before 1 July 2025, and contain a QR code will remain valid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of 1 July 2025, the civil registry certificates for birth, acknowledgment, marriage, divorce, and death will be issued in a single, unified format. The categories of &#8220;extract&#8221; and &#8220;full version&#8221; will be eliminated from these documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Along with the new format, a uniform fee of RD$600 will be applied to each type of civil certificate, regardless of the event being registered.
