Forever Tango opened on Broadway June of 1997 for an eight-week engagement and ran for about 14 months, returning for other engagements in future years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The performance in Santo Domingo will feature 14 world-class tango dancers, 11 musicians, including four playing the bandoneon, the bellows-driven free-reed musical instrument best associated with tango music.
