It now heads to the Executive Branch for either promulgation or veto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The newly approved law aims to establish a comprehensive legal framework for public contracting by defining the relevant authorities, guiding principles, procedures, and applicable regulations. Its central goal is to ensure the efficient use of public funds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to promoting transparency and efficiency, the legislation seeks to better meet the general public&#8217;s needs and uphold fundamental human rights.
