He highlighted how the system now presents RD$4 billion in assets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the same presentation, Superintendent of Banks Alejandro Fernandez stressed the importance of a strong banking system and the positive implications for public and private financing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Dominican banking system was strengthened when Congress approved the passing of the pension plans and health insurance providers to bank affiliates. These entities have resulted in high yields for the financial companies.
