Local news media mention he allegedly has ties to drug trafficking networks operated by Quirino Ernesto Paulino Castillo and former Dominican congressman Miguel Gutierrez, both convicted in the US judicial system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jorge Puras had been named in 2021 advisor on free zone industries to the Abinader Presidency.
