The figures solidify the facility&#8217;s position as one of the nation&#8217;s most potent public assets for cash generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this latest performance, the cumulative contribution of the Punta Catalina Electric Generation Company between 2023 and 2025 has reached US$562.9 million. These funds were funneled into the national economy through a combination of public debt amortization, dividends, and tax payments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a statement released by EGEPC, the 2025 results represent the highest annual contribution since the plant began operations.
