Following the dramatic 11-inning victory by the \u00c1guilas Cibae\u00f1as over the Gigantes del Cibao on Tuesday, 13 January 2026, the Lidom Round Robin standings have reached a critical juncture. The victory for the \u00c1guilas, combined with a win by the Toros del Este over the Leones del Escogido on the same night, has kept the Aguilas and Toros still tied for the second qualifying spot for the playoffs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ezequiel Dur\u00e1n was the hero for the Aguilas in the game played at the Estadio Cibao in Santiago. He delivered a walk-off single in the bottom of the 11th inning to secure the 4-3 victory for the \u00c1guilas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The playoff race is now focused on the high-stakes matchup scheduled for Wednesday, 14 January 2026 when the Toros will face the Aguilas.
