The Dominican Republic, represented by the the Leones del Escogido, won game 1 during the Caribbean Series being played at the Estadio Panamericano in Zapopan, a suburb of Guadalajara, in Jalisco, Mexico. The DR defeated the Red Team of Mexico 5-4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Caribbean Series that matches teams from Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Panama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2026 Caribbean Series will now be hosted by the Charros de Jalisco of the Liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacifico. The event features the champions of Puerto Rico\u2019s LBPRC, the Dominican Republic\u2019s LIDOM, both finalists from Mexico\u2019s LAMP, and a team representing Panama. The Caribbean Series schedule is from 1 to 7 February 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Depending on the outcome of this round of games, on Friday , 6 February, the second and third place teams will play in the first semi-final at 4pm and at 9pm the first and fourth place teams will play the second semi-final. Saturday will be the final game between the winners of the two semi-final winners. On local television, the games will be caried on Digital15, and for those that have access to international channels, on ESPNDeportes, ESPN app, DirecTV and FUBO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
