Preliminary reports indicate that she was the wife of the Canadian consul in the Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The incident occurred around 5pm at the M\u00f3naco Tower VIII-IX, located at 55 El Retiro Street. According to witnesses, the victim landed dangerously close to a male pedestrian who was passing in front of the building at the time of the fall. The identity of the pedestrian has not been released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>National Police officers arrived at the scene shortly after to cordoned off the area and begin the initial phase of the investigation.
