The project was formalized through a contract signing between the Minister of Industry, Commerce, and MSMEs, Yayo Sanz Lovat\u00f3n, and the president of the Board of Directors of Grupo Estrella, Manuel Estrella.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Located in the Boca Chica area, near the Las Americas International Airport and the Punta Caucedo Multimodal Port and Logistics Center, the park is designed to be a high-tech ecosystem integrating medium and advanced technology companies. According to the development plans, Savanna aims to attract high-value-added manufacturing and efficient services through a dedicated logistics center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project is part of a broader surge in the country\u2019s free zone sector. By the end of 2024, the Dominican Republic reported a record 198,552 direct jobs in the sector, with exports reaching US$8.43 billion, a 5.9% increase over the previous year. The sector now accounts for over 60% of the country\u2019s total goods exports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Savanna Free Zone Park is expected to offer world-class infrastructure, including:<br>\u2022 High-speed telecommunications with guaranteed redundancy.<br>\u2022 Advanced training spaces for human talent development.<br>\u2022 24\/7 security with state-of-the-art surveillance technology.<br>\u2022 A resilient landscape design using native species to reduce water consumption<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This development follows a trend of private sector investment in the region.
