The local traffic and transit agency Digesett is currently managing alternate routes while a provisional pass is constructed to restore connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 18 April 2026, the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) mandated the total and temporary closure of the Ocoa-Cruce de Ocoa highway following a significant geological failure. The collapse was classified as a major sinkhole (socav\u00f3n).
