Endorsed by the Dominican Sailing Federation, the event features competitions in both the cruiser and dinghy (vela ligera) categories, solidifying Saman\u00e1\u2019s reputation as a top-tier nautical tourism destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Saman\u00e1 Bay is renowned in the sailing community for providing a tactical challenge, characterized by consistent winds and protected waters that require precise navigation. &#8220;The event has consolidated itself as a meeting point for sailors, featuring exciting races and a festive atmosphere,&#8221; noted Ana Bancalari, marketing director of Marina Puerto Bah\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lifestyle and on-shore programming<br>The 2026 edition introduces several new elements to enhance the experience for non-sailors and guests:<br>Regatta Village (Saturday, 2 May): For the first time, a dedicated village will offer a direct view of the racecourse.
