The event is a chapter of activities leading to the World Investment Conference (WIC) and is scheduled to take place from 1 to 3 July 2026 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Santo Domingo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the theme &#8220;Building Opportunities,&#8221; the forum aims to solidify the Dominican Republic\u2019s position as a premier investment destination while fostering regional competitiveness. The initiative arrives amidst a significant shift in global value chains, with the Caribbean nation seeking to capitalize on trends in nearshoring, energy transition, and digital transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Biviana Riveiro Disla, executive director of ProDominicana, characterized the forum as a milestone for the country\u2019s economic diplomacy. She noted that the event reflects growing international confidence in the Dominican Republic, which has seen record-breaking figures in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and exports in recent years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The forum will dedicate specific sessions to interregional cooperation, targeting investors from the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and the United States.
