Today is a day to remember that even when women continue to suffer discriminations and the numbers of female homicides continues high (female murders nevertheless were down last year 32% last year), women also continue to brave the role of motherhood, are single heads of households and are an important part of the country’s labor force. Women are also 61% of the nation’s university students and a majority of the overall population.<\/p>\n
