One of the best-known living writers in the Spanish-speaking world, Mexican Carlos Fuentes will meet Dominican audiences during the 13th International Book Fair that opens in Santo Domingo on 21 April. He is booked for a talk at the main hall of the National Theater. <\/p>\n
Others coming for the event are Spanish writer Victor Andresco who has worked as a literary critic for El Pais and ABC, Mexican filmmaker Adela Fernandez, and Paloma Jorge Amado, daughter of late Brazilian author Jorge Amado. <\/p>\n
The organizers say that in total, 114 authors from 14 countries and 18 writers from the Dominican diaspora in the US are coming for the event.<\/p>\n
