He threw 128 pitches and finished with seven strikeouts and six walks. “Before the ninth, I was like, ‘What can I do? I’m going to ask God to give me strength to keep going,’ ” Jimenez told MLB news. “Keep pounding the strike zone, make them swing the bat, and it could probably happen.
