The Police reports that it has recovered more than RD$4 million belonging to the Grupo Leoagma Madison Construccion, which was stolen from two company messengers outside the main Banco Leon branch in Naco. The bank’s private security guard Radhames Anglero Garcia was killed when apprehending one of the thieves and his own gun fired accidentally.<\/p>\n
The Police reported that the gun used by the suspected thieves, identified as 32-yearold Aramis Montero Mendez and 27-year old Juan Gregorio Mendez is registered as the property of police agent Jonathan Quezada Caraballo and was reported stolen during a robbery at the Punto Moda boutique on the San Isidro highway on 12 November.<\/p>\n
The construction company messengers, Miguel Burgos Cabrera and Rafael Elpidio Mejia Acosta were robbed when they left the bank on Tiradentes and John F. Kennedy avenues with the RD$4 million.<\/p>\n
