It would be the largest in the country and would cost over US$1 billion. The project would include a re-gasification terminal in the north of the country. The plant would represent 17% of the estimated deficit for 2016. The deficit is estimated at 2,887 according to a press release. Reportedly, the natural gas terminal would be equipped to sell gas to other generators and other projects.
