A fugitive from justice in Sweden, where there was a warrant for the kidnapping of a child, was captured yesterday by members of the National Police Central Department of Criminal Intelligence assigned to the OCN-Interpol in Santo Domingo. The agents rescued and delivered a little girl to the authorities of the National Council for Children and Adolescents (Conani). The woman who was arrested was identified as Helena Marie Irene Agnvall, who took her five-year old daughter out of Sweden in 2007 and travelled illegally to the Dominican Republic, where she lived in Sosua in order to evade persecution from her country.<\/p>\n
