In a poll of 1,217 citizens of voting age nationwide, Mejia has his strongest support among young people and residents outside Santo Domingo or among people with low or middle educational levels. <\/p>\n
CID Gallup says that Danilo Medina’s support resides primarily among supporters of the work of the Fernandez administration or people who perceive that their household economies have improved in the past year. <\/p>\n
The poll found that Mejia’s support is also higher, 56%, in the segments of population that are most likely to go to vote, comparing to 36% for Danilo Medina. <\/p>\n
