The bank revealed that it has introduced new banknote security measures so that the general public can verify that the bills are authentic. On the RD$500, RD$1,000 and RD$2,000 bills, the circular seal of the Central Bank is now placed just below the bunch with four mahogany flowers. There is also a change in the position of the figure in the center of the bills that changes color depending on the angle from which it is viewed.
