The Aguilas Cibaenas have begun to battle the Leones del Escogido, making for an exciting playoff this year. Playing in Santo Domingo yesterday, city fans watched their team lose 8-5 despite winning 5-4 in the ninth inning. Two last minute runs against star pitcher Fernando Rodney made the difference in the fifth game of the 9-5 playoffs. The game was close all throughout. <\/p>\n
