The National Drug Control Department (DNCD) announced yesterday Tuesday 28 February that a French citizen had been arrested with around four kilos of cocaine at the Las Americas International airport (AILA) before boarding a flight to Paris on Monday 27 February.<\/p>\n

They also announced that a British citizen of Dominican descent, Rosa Olivia Rodriguez, was arrested at Punta Cana airport in possession of at least 15lbs of marijuana where she was waiting to catch a flight to Antigua and Barbuda. <\/p>\n

DNCD spokesman Roberto Lebron said that both were under arrest and the French and British authorities were being informed. <\/p>\n
